HSC Results Likely to Be Published Between October 25 and 29
The results of this year’s Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations may be published between October 25 and 29. The evaluation of answer scripts is being completed quickly to meet the expected deadline.
Professor Syed Akhtaruzzaman, chairman of the Dhaka Education Board and president of the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee, confirmed the information to the media on Monday night (October 12).
He said a proposal suggesting possible result publication dates between October 25 and 29 has been sent to the Ministry of Education.
However, the final date has not yet been confirmed. It will be announced after the Ministry of Education gives its approval.
This year’s HSC and equivalent examinations began on July 2 and ended on August 8. However, several written examinations under the Chattogram Education Board were postponed because of flooding. The board’s written examinations were completed on September 9 after the postponed tests were held.
A total of 1,270,583 students from 9,439 educational institutions under the country’s 11 education boards took part in this year’s examinations.
