Alleged Top Criminal Saheb Ali Killed in Narayanganj Shooting
Saheb Ali, whom police described as a top criminal, was shot dead during a clash between rival groups in Siddhirganj, Narayanganj.
The shooting took place near WAPDA Colony in Siddhirganj on Monday evening (October 12). He was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital in critical condition, where doctors declared him dead.
Police said Saheb Ali was accused in more than 10 cases, including murder and robbery.
On September 30 last year, RAB-11 conducted an operation to arrest him in Siddhirganj’s Boubazar area. His associates reportedly attacked the RAB team, injuring four members, and helped him escape. He was later arrested in October 2025 and subsequently released on bail.
