LPG Traders Withdraw Two-Day Strike
LPG traders have withdrawn their planned two-day nationwide strike, which was scheduled for October 15 and 16. The decision was announced on Wednesday (October 14).
A public hearing will be held on October 29 to determine the commission demanded by LPG distributors and retailers.
The traders announced the strike at a press conference on October 12. Their demands included an end to alleged harassment by law enforcement agencies, a revision of their commission rates and permission to return unused gas cylinders to the market.
