Former MP Salahuddin Ahmed Passes Away
Three-time former member of parliament and BNP Central Committee’s Commerce Affairs Secretary Salahuddin Ahmed has passed away at the age of 80.
He died at 8:10 pm on Tuesday while undergoing treatment at Evercare Hospital in Dhaka. He had been suffering from lung problems and other health complications.
According to his family, his first funeral prayer will be held after Zuhr prayers on Wednesday at Lal Masjid in Shyampur-Kadamtali.
Salahuddin Ahmed represented the Dhaka-4 constituency and was elected to parliament as a BNP candidate in 1991 and 2001.
