1,702 Candidates Appointed Through 45th BCS
The Ministry of Public Administration has published the final appointment gazette for the 45th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examination, appointing 1,702 candidates to different cadres.
The gazette was issued on Wednesday night (October 14). The newly appointed officials have been instructed to join the offices designated by their respective cadre-controlling ministries or divisions by November 1.
The publication of the gazette has completed the recruitment process nearly four years after it began. It was issued about 11 months after the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) published the final results.
The BPSC had initially recommended 1,807 candidates for appointment to different cadres. The final gazette appointed 105 fewer candidates than the number recommended.
