Prime Minister Tareq Rahman to Visit Japan on October 26

Prime Minister Tareq Rahman will travel to Tokyo on October 26 for a four-day official visit at the invitation of Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi.

A source at Bangladesh’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed the visit on Tuesday (October 6).

The visit is expected to focus on increasing Japanese investment in Bangladesh, organizing a business conference and reviewing progress in creating employment opportunities for Bangladeshi workers in Japan.

Diplomatic sources said Prime Minister Tareq Rahman is also expected to meet Japanese Emperor Naruhito during his visit.
