Cabinet Approves Renaming of Women and Children Affairs Ministry

The government has decided to rename the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs. Following the change, it will be known as the Ministry of Women and Child Affairs.

Cabinet Secretary Dr Nasimul Gani announced the decision at a briefing after a cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Tarique Rahman at the Cabinet Division in the Secretariat on Sunday afternoon (October 18).

He said the cabinet had approved the proposal to change the ministry’s name.
